About The Position

Join Choctaw Contracting Services (CCS) in supporting the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) to strengthen medical readiness across a globally dispersed intelligence force. As a Health Systems Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the medical readiness, deployment, and operational preparedness of soldiers, civilians, and units supporting sensitive intelligence missions. This position is designed for a highly experienced professional with an extensive knowledge of military medical readiness systems, MEDPROS, and Soldier Readiness Processing (SRP). Your work will directly support senior medical leadership, influence readiness policy and reporting, and enable INSCOM commanders to make informed decisions impacting mission success.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in health education, psychology, counseling, social work, public health, and/or related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating military medical readiness programs.
  • Extensive experience with MEDPROS and medical readiness data systems.
  • Experience supporting deployments, redeployments, and SRP operations.
  • Proven ability to work directly with senior military leaders, medical officers, and civilian executives.
  • Active Secret security clearance required.
  • TOP Secret/SCI eligibility required.
  • In-depth knowledge of military operations, readiness programs, and DoD/Army medical readiness recommendations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable recommendations.
  • Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills, including formal briefing experience.
  • Proficiency with MEDPROS, RIDES, AFCITA, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing complex, high-visibility initiatives.
  • Professional judgment, discretion, and adaptability in sensitive operational environments.
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships across military, civilian, and contractor organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all Medical Soldier Readiness Processing (SRP) activities in support of INSCOM Active Duty, National Guard, Reserve units, and Department of the Army Civilians.
  • Plan, implement, and manage Medical Readiness Protection System (MEDPROS) reporting procedures for the INSCOM Office of the Command Surgeon.
  • Serve as the MEDPROS Subject Matter Expert (SME) for INSCOM, ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and system integrity across Major Subordinate Commands (MSCs).
  • Maintain a baseline medical readiness database reflecting an accurate depiction of unit and individual readiness.
  • Analyze, interpret, and evaluate medical readiness data to assess deployment and mobilization preparedness across the INSCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR).
  • Prepare executive summaries, information papers, memorandums, action papers, and formal briefings for INSCOM senior leaders.
  • Conduct studies and analyses related to medical readiness trends, readiness gaps, and compliance issues impacting AMEDD and INSCOM units.
  • Present formal briefings and provide narrative reporting as required to support Command Surgeon initiatives.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and refinement of policies, standards, and procedures governing medical readiness reporting.
  • Analyze and interpret DoD, Department of the Army, and headquarters regulations / directives impacting medical readiness.
  • Manage the Unit Medical Readiness (UMR) Program for INSCOM, ensuring compliance with reporting and readiness requirements.
  • Perform Staff Assistance Visits (SAVs) and Organizational Inspection Program (OIP) visits to assess compliance and provide corrective guidance.
  • Provide MEDPROS education and training to eligible INSCOM military and civilian personnel.
  • Coordinate and support Army Immunization Campaigns and additional Individual Medical Readiness (IMR) initiatives.
  • Serve as MEDPROS access manager, approving or disapproving system access for INSCOM-wide users.
  • Coordinate with Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs), Defense Health Agency, Office of the Army Surgeon General (OTSG), contractors, and Tri-Service partners.
  • Support SRP coordination efforts with local MTFs and assist with MEDPROS-related software and hardware requirements.
