About The Position

Step into a role where psychology directly informs leadership, performance, and organizational resilience across the U.S. Army’s intelligence enterprise. As an Organizational Consulting Psychologist with Choctaw Contracting Services (CCS), you will support the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) by advising senior leaders on human performance, organizational well-being, and prevention-focused health initiatives. This is a non-clinical, consultative position designed for experienced psychologists who excel in organizational assessment, leadership advising, and large-scale prevention programming. Your work will influence policy, shape wellness initiatives, and strengthen the psychological readiness of a globally dispersed intelligence workforce.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD)
  • Graduate of an APA-accredited doctoral program in Clinical Psychology or Industrial/Organizational Psychology
  • Completion of an APA-accredited psychology internship
  • Minimum of three (3) years post-licensure experience, including supervision, oversight, or program management.
  • Experience in organizational psychology, organizational change management, and operational consultation.
  • Background in training development, behavioral interventions, critical incident response, public speaking, and program analysis.
  • Current, full, unrestricted license to practice psychology within any U.S. state or territory.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or Red Cross).
  • Active Secret security clearance required.
  • TOP Secret/SCI eligibility required
  • Strong understanding of military culture and operational environments.
  • Strong executive communication skills with senior military and civilian leadership.
  • Ability to practice independently with high ethical standards under APA and Army guidelines.
  • Ability to develop briefings, reports, presentations, and communication products for diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships and operate effectively in complex organizations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Flexibility to manage multiple priorities while supporting domestic and international travel.

Responsibilities

  • Provide subject matter expertise to commanders and senior leaders on human performance, organizational health, work-life integration, and Quality of Life (QoL) initiatives.
  • Advise leadership on organizational stressors, maladaptive behaviors, environmental factors, and resilience strategies that impact mission effectiveness.
  • Offer leadership coaching as an advisory service to enhance leader effectiveness in a non-supervisory or clinical role.
  • Analyze command-wide trends, geographic challenges, surveys, and reports to inform prevention-focused programming.
  • Apply evidence-based psychological research to support organizational wellness, resilience, and performance optimization initiatives.
  • Develop recommendations to improve and/or refine INSCOM Health and Wellness and QoL programs.
  • Design, develop, and deliver training, briefings, and educational forums for leaders and workgroups at all levels.
  • Plan and conduct forums to capture workforce perspectives on wellness, work-life integration, and organizational climate.
  • Present findings and recommendations to INSCOM leadership through formal briefings and written products.
  • Coordinate with INSCOM OTCS, Major Subordinate Commands (MSCs), installations, and medical resources to support prevention and performance initiatives.
  • Support data collection, surveys, program evaluation, and development of operational procedures related to Health and Wellness efforts.
  • Travel CONUS and OCONUS to INSCOM locations to provide on-site support, briefings, and consultation, as directed.
  • Assist OTCS in evaluating the effectiveness of Health and Wellness initiatives focused on psychological resilience.
  • Identify policy and procedural gaps and support the development of recommendations that may influence Army and DoD-level guidance.
  • Analyze Command and Army metrics and produce reports, papers, and briefing materials for senior leadership.
