About The Position

Wellness at the enterprise level does not happen by accident; it takes vision, coordination, and the ability to bring people, policy, and programs together with purpose. Across the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM), leaders are committed to building a culture where readiness, resilience, and quality of life are sustained for the long term. As a Wellness Integrator with Choctaw Contracting Services (CCS), you are the connective tissue of that effort. You translate strategy into action, align prevention and wellness initiatives across organizations, and ensure that programs are designed to support Soldiers and civilians through coordination, effectiveness, and compliance. Your work shapes how wellness is planned, implemented, and sustained across a globally dispersed intelligence force.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in health education, public health, psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field preferred.
  • Master’s degree in health education, public health, psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field preferred.
  • Five (5)+ years of experience in organizational or occupational health program development and integration (Master’s-level candidates).
  • Ten (10)+ years of experience in organizational or occupational health program development and integration (Bachelor’s-level candidates).
  • Professional experience in program implementation, coordination, analysis, administration, or administrative research.
  • Experience with policy development, application of Government regulations, and inter-agency or stakeholder collaboration.
  • Active Secret security clearance required.
  • TOP Secret/SCI eligibility required.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with senior military and civilian leadership.
  • Expert-level ability to advise Government or command-level organizations on organizational wellness initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of health promotion, wellness principles, and strategic planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships and work effectively across organizations.
  • Professional judgment, discretion, and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Support and integrate command-directed wellness initiatives in coordination with INSCOM senior leadership, HQDA, G-1, Major Subordinate Commands (MSCs), Unit Ministry Teams, the Command Surgeon, Command Chaplain, and Command Psychologist.
  • Serve as the INSCOM program manager for wellness initiatives, receiving strategic guidance from G-1 and the Office of the Command Surgeon (OTCS).
  • Coordinate programs focused on quality of life, resilience, risk reduction, suicide prevention, and overall workforce wellness for Soldiers and civilians.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on DoD and Army policies related to primary prevention, population health, and leadership implementation doctrine.
  • Advise leadership and stakeholders on policy development and program solutions to enhance command-wide wellness strategies.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships across internal and external organizations to align wellness efforts and eliminate duplication.
  • Analyze statistical data, assessments, and narrative reports to evaluate the effectiveness of wellness initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with Department of the Army regulatory requirements while providing recurring program assessments and recommendations.
  • Work closely with program evaluation personnel to develop improvements that may result in updates to policy, procedures, or implementation approaches.
  • Coordinate, manage, plan, and evaluate wellness initiatives under the Vigilant Wellness portfolio and the Commander’s Ready and Resilient Council (CR2C).
  • As directed by leadership, support related functions such as Health Promotion and Suicide Prevention efforts.
  • Travel required to support wellness initiatives and stakeholder engagement across the command.
