About The Position

The Health Services Administrator (HSA) is responsible for overseeing and evaluating the healthcare delivery program within a facility, ensuring compliance with state and local regulations, ACA, NCCHC, and accreditation standards. This role involves managing medical, dental, and mental health program activities in alignment with company and facility policies. The HSA will also manage and supervise healthcare staff, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to maintain high-quality patient care, and contribute to the mission of providing care to underserved and vulnerable populations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Health Administration, Business Administration, or health related field preferred.
  • Three years administrative, management and supervisory experience.
  • Sound decision-making skills are mandatory.
  • Organizational experience in operations and planning required.
  • CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

  • Delivery and administration of correctional medical, dental, and mental health care recommended.
  • Experience in Managing budgets and analyzing contracts preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees and manages the delivery of healthcare services in compliance with State and Local Regulations, ACA, NCCHC, and State accreditation standards.
  • Evaluates financial and statistical data, program needs and problems, and recommends improvements for operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Recruits, orients, and evaluates employees, maintains good relationships with stakeholders, and ensures compliance with company and facility policies and procedures.
  • Closely monitors healthcare services, pharmacy use, referrals to consultants, in-patient hospitalizations, and potential catastrophic illnesses to limit liabilities and ensure quality of care.
  • Functions as a liaison between other professional organizations.
  • Attends seminars, workshops, and conferences.
  • Promotes Quality Improvement standards by participating in audits.
  • Manages and supervises healthcare staff.
  • Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to maintain high-quality patient care.
