About The Position
Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Florida Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a full time Health Services Administrator to join our team at Martin Correctional Institution located in Indiantown, Florida. The Associate Hospital Administrator is responsible for managing the overall operations of the contracted clinical program with oversight of the facility hospital and other services provided.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- Must have ability to effectively communicate in writing and orally with staff and institutional administration
- Must be able to pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in hospital administration, healthcare administration, health and human services, business administration, public administration, nursing, or related field preferred
- Associate's degree with experience in correctional environment will be considered
- Agency for healthcare administration (AHCA) experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Planning, coordinating, directing, and supervising the program's provision of services to patients in a correctional setting to meet service delivery requirements of the contract and Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA)
