About The Position
The Health Services Administrator provides administrative and operational leadership for healthcare services delivered by Healthcare and Emergency Solutions within the correctional facility. This role ensures operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and high standards of care.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Public Health, Business, or a related field
- Active, unrestricted professional license (RN preferred when applicable)
- Previous healthcare administrative or leadership experience
- Ability to pass a correctional facility security background check
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree (MHA, MBA, MPH, or MSN)
- Certified Correctional Health Professional (CCHP)
- Correctional Behavioral Health Certification (CBHC)
- Prior experience working in a jail, prison, or detention environment
Responsibilities
- Oversee day‑to‑day healthcare administrative operations
- Manage staffing, scheduling, budgets, and operational reporting
- Ensure compliance with NCCHC, ACA, and Florida standards
- Coordinate with facility leadership and clinical management
- Support audits, quality improvement efforts, and performance initiatives
