About The Position

CorrectHealth is seeking a full-time Health Services Administrator (RN) in Houma, LA. CorrectHealth is a multi-disciplinary medical organization providing high-quality, cost-effective, comprehensive healthcare within correctional facilities. Founded by ER professionals, CorrectHealth has established its unique approach to correctional healthcare, known as the "Correct Way." Currently, CorrectHealth serves over 35 correctional facilities across Georgia, Louisiana, the Southeast, and beyond. This managerial position oversees the efficient and effective administration of all health care services, operating 24/7. The role encompasses responsibility for clinical, financial, administrative, information technology, and human resources systems. The Health Services Administrator is dedicated to promoting the highest quality of patient care through fair and equitable policies and procedures, in collaboration with health services and correctional staff. Duties are operationally directed, focusing on appropriate resource utilization and adherence to performance standards set by NCCHC, ACA, and other accrediting agencies. The position requires strong leadership, team-building, ethical conduct, integrity, and professionalism.

Requirements

  • BS degree or ADN
  • Holds and maintains licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) in the state of employment.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical and decision-making skills required.
  • Strong computer skills required, including office software and internet.

Nice To Haves

  • Corrections experience preferred.
  • 3-5 years of administrative/supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Efficient and effective administration of all aspects of health care services 24hrs daily, 7days a week.
  • Management of clinical, financial, administrative, information technology and human resources systems.
  • Promoting the highest quality of patient care through application of fair and equitable policies and procedures in collaboration with other health services team members and correctional staff.
  • Operationally directed duties with an emphasis on appropriate resource utilization and performance standards as established by NCCHC, ACA and other accrediting agencies.
  • Displaying personal attributes including leadership, team building, ethics, integrity and professionalism.
