Requirements

  • MUST BE A REGISTERED NURSE
  • Possess a bachelor’s degree in a related health care field
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Arkansas is required
  • Minimum of two years of previous medical services administration
  • Prior supervisory experience is required
  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test
  • Be able to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry
  • Meet the requirements to be an eligible driver, including having an active Driver’s License

Responsibilities

  • Direct, direct service, and supervision of the medical department.
  • Ensure compliance across the facility with contracting and ACA standards.
  • Monitor and determine appropriate level of care for students within our facility.
  • Supervising all medical staff on-site.
  • Coordinating medical services to ensure quality delivery for our student athletes.
  • Scheduling medical appointments.
  • Communicating with placement agencies.
  • Ensuring students are enrolled into some form of medical insurance.
  • Provide direct student care on an as needed basis.
