About The Position
Inframark is seeking an experienced Environmental Health & Safety Specialist to support its water and wastewater operations in Forsyth County. This role is responsible for driving EHS compliance, reducing risk, delivering training, and fostering a strong safety culture across multiple project sites. The specialist will coordinate and oversee environmental, health, and safety programs while supporting project operations through proactive risk management, training, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3-7 years of EHS or safety management experience.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety management systems.
- Experience developing SOPs, conducting training, and managing compliance programs.
- Excellent communication, organization, and computer skills.
- Valid driver’s license required.
Nice To Haves
- CSP, ASP, or similar certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support environmental, health, and safety programs at assigned facilities.
- Conduct site audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
- Develop and implement corrective and preventative actions.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and environmental regulations.
- Coordinate regulatory inspections and reporting requirements.
- Deliver EHS and DOT training programs for employees and contractors.
- Support workers’ compensation, insurance, and incident management programs.
- Maintain EHS records, systems, and training documentation.
