About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Health & Safety Manager to support a brand-new, high-profile warehouse operation in Moreno Valley, California. This start-up operation will run 24/7 and requires a strong leader who can build and maintain a world-class safety culture while partnering closely with operations and leadership teams. As a key member of the leadership team, you will play a critical role in developing safety programs, ensuring compliance, reducing risk, and promoting employee engagement and accountability throughout the facility.

Requirements

  • Health & Safety leadership experience in warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environments
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards
  • Experience conducting incident investigations and root cause analysis
  • Strong communication, leadership, and influencing skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in fast-paced operational environments
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Experience supporting large employee populations and multi-shift operations preferred
  • Ability to build relationships and drive accountability at all levels
  • Experience in a similar role preferably in a Logistic environment’s
  • High Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Power-point, Visio and Word)
  • Excellent communication. presentation and relationship building skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and work within and adapt to a dynamic working environment

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Safety, or related field preferred
  • OSHA certifications or professional safety certifications preferred
  • Experience in start-up, high-growth, or 24/7 operations strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of warehouse equipment safety, ergonomics, and industrial operations
  • Bilingual Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead all onsite Health & Safety functions for a 24/7 warehouse operation
  • Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs, policies, and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, state, local, and company safety regulations
  • Conduct safety audits, inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations
  • Partner with Operations leadership to drive safe work practices and employee accountability
  • Identify trends and implement proactive safety initiatives and corrective actions
  • Lead safety training programs and employee engagement activities
  • Support workers’ compensation, return-to-work, and injury prevention programs
  • Track and report safety metrics, KPIs, and compliance documentation
  • Promote a positive safety culture focused on awareness, prevention, and continuous improvement
  • Support startup activities, including equipment reviews, process assessments, and operational readiness
  • Responsible for the smooth day to day running of the department including all areas of customer service, KPI’s, Planning, administration, RMA administration, Supervision of Staff, Coaching and maintaining the highest possible level of customer satisfaction.
  • Liason with all operational departments to ensure smooth information flow to and from the client
  • Provide on time and accurate KPI’s and other information to the Operation Manager, Operations Director / Senior Management Team and client
  • Ensure that client complaints are handled within 24 hours and escalated to the Operation Manager for sign off when completed and then drive forward continuous improvements throughout the operation from customer oriented issues.
  • Ensure all work instructions and standard operating procedures are up-to date and available for all staff in the department
