Requirements

Current student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in an environmental or occupational safety related field (e.g., Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or similar) OR May 2026 graduate of one of these programs.
Ability to work 40 hours per week from June 2027 - August 2027.

Nice To Haves

Completed classes in equipment lockout/tagout, chemical safety, and OSHA/EPA.

Responsibilities

Ensure all requirements of Valeo Group are identified, established, and implemented.
Verify that safety and security equipment comply with requirements.
Conduct risk analysis and monitor regulatory surveys.
Assist in establishing and overseeing the application of site “Health, Safety, Security and Environment” operation procedures.
Perform inspections and internal audits, make recommendations, and specify corresponding actions for implementation.
Assist in implementing and monitoring actions related to non-compliance identified through inspections, internal, and external audits, considering necessary investments.
Update and complete Safety Data sheets, as well as ergonomic and PPE assessments.
Review and update Safety and Environmental work instructions.
