If you're passionate about this, we want to hear from you! About the Role MWH is currently seeking a qualified Health & Safety Coordinator to oversee project safety protocols and procedures. This position will be based out of city, state.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or two-year degree in occupational safety, environmental safety and health, health management, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years construction experience and 1 year of safety experience on a construction site.
  • Ability to recognize hazardous situations and implement corrective measures as needed.
  • Knowledge of OSHA.

Responsibilities

  • Establishes and promotes a healthy and safe work environment.
  • Oversees the implementation and maintenance of environmental health and safety management systems.
  • Emphasizes accountability around safety policies and decisions.
  • Aids in the development and implementation of project, regional, and corporate safety strategy companywide.
  • Works closely with project leadership to create a safe working environment.
  • Instrumental in training the companys employees in safety-related issues and techniques.
