Health & Safety Co-Op - Fall 2026
About The Position
We have a Fall 2026 Co-Op opportunity in the Safety Department! The VEGA Americas co-op program is designed to give students real-world, hands-on experiences. This paid position allows students to use the knowledge they’ve learned in the classroom and apply it to everyday workplace scenarios. Co-ops are full members of their department with daily responsibilities, and graduates who complete the program will obtain new skills they can use in their careers. Requirements
- Sophomore or beyond in a 2 or 4-year degree program
- Must be able to work from our Mason office
Responsibilities
- Assist in obtaining and setting up the safety data sheet (SDS) program.
- Assist in creating Jobs Safety Analysis (JSA) evaluations on new equipment and processes.
- Assist in developing lockout/Tag-out procedures for new and existing equipment.
- Assist in training on these programs and procedures.
- Assist in safety inspections.
