About The Position

Timpte is looking for a Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Manager to join their growing team in their David City, NE manufacturing facility. This person will be responsible for developing and implementing organizational safety programs at all Timpte locations by engaging the Leadership team and the Shop floor personnel to improve overall safety performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in related field and 5-7 years of Safety Leadership.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Programs, including Excel, Word, etc.
• Must have working knowledge in HSE Management Systems, Incident command, Incident Investigation.
• Must be available to travel to Timpte facilities on a periodic basis.
• Must have insurable driving record and valid drivers’ license.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.

Responsibilities

• Champion a positive and proactive safety culture alongside the Leadership team
• Lead and engage all employees in identifying risk, defining their safety responsibilities, and leading the investigation of each incident by identifying the causes and recommend/complete preventive action against reoccurrence.
• Maintain company and regulatory policies and procedures dealing with safety/compliance and verify they have been documented, implemented, and communicated.
• Conduct/direct internal investigations, periodic reviews and audits of safety issues to ensure they comply with Safety rules and regulations.
