About The Position
IPEX is a leading provider of advanced plastic piping systems in North America, focused on connecting people with water and energy. They are seeking an experienced HSE Specialist to support their Fort Pierce, FL plant and distribution operations. This role is crucial in maintaining and improving HSE Management Systems, leading safety initiatives, conducting observations, supporting incident investigations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements. Requirements
- At least an associate’s degree in occupational health & safety
- 5+ years of HSE experience
- 3+ years of HSE experience in manufacturing
- Strong communication and training skills
- Solid computer and technical aptitude
Nice To Haves
- CSP certification is a plus
Responsibilities
- Implement and improve HSE programs and site-specific procedures
- Deliver training and drive engagement in safety initiatives
- Conduct audits, gap analyses, and develop action plans
- Support investigations of incidents and environmental releases
- Maintain HSE documentation, KPIs, and compliance reporting
- Partner with cross functional teams to strengthen safe work practices
- Review equipment, materials, and process changes for HSE impacts
- Support hazardous materials programs and training
