The Métis Nation–Saskatchewan (MN–S) is the government representing Métis citizens across Saskatchewan. The MN–S Ministry of Health, Mental Health & Addictions is responsible for improving the health, well-being, and access to culturally informed services for Métis citizens throughout the province. Under the supervision of the Director of Health, Mental Health and Addictions, the Health Promotion Manager will provide direct support to the Health Department to help carry out the department’s objectives and activities. This includes supporting departmental programs (such as Canada Tobacco, CPAC, Hardy Settlement and Oral Health Access Fund), health promotion initiatives led by Métis Nation–Saskatchewan, as well as supporting research partnerships with external partners. The Health Program Manager provides leadership and operational management across the Ministry and is responsible for effective service delivery, program coordination, team leadership, relationship building, and continuous improvement of programs and related health initiatives.
