About The Position

Health Research, Inc. is seeking a Health Program Coordinator to work within the Division of HIV Health Care. The Health Program Coordinator (HPC) will coordinate the administrative, operational and personnel activities of the Division; coordinate, prepare and monitor Executive Deputy Commissioner Correspondence (EDCC) for the Division of HIV Health Care; support fiscal and contract management activities; coordinate the facility-related needs of the Division; supervise staff; represent the Division of HIV Health Care and coordinate special projects; other appropriate related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of experience contributing to the coordination of program activities in a public health, health, health regulatory, or human services related program; OR an Associate's degree in a related field and four years of such experience; OR six years of such experience.
  • A Master's degree in a related field may substitute for one year of experience.
  • Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required.
  • Valid and unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
  • The selected candidate must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the official work location specified in the job posting and must also be located in or willing to relocate to one of the following states: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Vermont, or Massachusetts, prior to hire.

Nice To Haves

  • At least two years supervisory experience.
  • At least one year of experience providing staff training.
  • Proficiency using a variety of software including MS Office (Word, Access, Excel and PowerPoint), and SharePoint, WebEx, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, in the preparation of documents, graphs, slides, presentations and spreadsheets.
