Requirements

  • The ability to work independently with little supervision and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
  • Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
  • The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
  • Talking to others to convey information effectively.
  • The ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking and writing so others will understand.
  • The ability to manage projects, including milestone tracking, to achieve objectives.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, develops, coordinates, and carries out activities to meet office contract, grant, and agreement needs.
  • Writes, reviews, and/or negotiates contracts, grants, and agreements in conjunction with program subject matter experts.
  • Analyzes, summarizes and/or reviews data; reports findings, interprets results and/or makes recommendations.
  • Gathers data, prepares reports or summarizes information.
  • Interprets, clarifies, explains and applies agency policy and procedures, business practices, federal or state laws and regulations, etc.
  • Ensures compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards, guidelines, etc.
  • Conducts or participates in day-to-day development and monitoring of needs and next steps for contracts, subrecipient agreements, and grants, in support of the larger program functions.
  • Collaborates with other state and local programs, organizations and agencies, and with various stakeholders to promote program goals and objectives.
  • Ensures all required aspects of the agreements are completed according to specifications and to requirements.
  • Provides technical assistance and agreement interpretation to vendors.
  • Meets and confers with management, users, and agreement providers to resolve problems and coordinate services.
