About The Position

This is a 0.2 FTE position at Eunice Kennedy Shriver Program for SY27. The role requires the ability to communicate and work effectively with the principal, staff, and parents, and to function as a team member with special education and general education staff. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, a willingness to compromise, good initiative, flexibility, dependability, and strong organizational and classroom management skills. A strong sense of professionalism is also expected. The position involves being the educational leader for the adaptive health and physical education program.

Requirements

• Experience working with students who have cognitive disabilities.
• Must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure.
• Health and PE endorsement.
• Lifeguard certification.
