Aptive is seeking a Health IT Training Specialist to support the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Health Service Corps (IHSC) Health Information Technology Unit (HITU) in preparing users for effective adoption of a modernized electronic health record (EHR) and related Health IT systems. IHSC delivers direct and coordinated healthcare to a detained population of approximately 34,000 individuals per day across a nationwide network of facilities, and this role helps ensure the clinical and operational workforce is ready to use the systems that support that care. This position prepares users for effective system adoption through role-based training, go-live support, and continuous learning initiatives. The specialist ensures consistent, high-quality training aligned with system releases, clinical workflows, and operational requirements across all IHSC facilities, and coordinates closely with clinical, operational, and technical teams to keep training accurate and current. The ideal candidate has experience delivering EHR or healthcare IT training, strong instructional design skills, and the ability to translate complex technical system changes into clear, user-friendly learning resources for a geographically distributed federal healthcare workforce. All work is performed in support of Government staff and within authorized Government-managed environments.
