Health Information/Medical Records Director
About The Position
We are now hiring a Health Information/Medical Records Director to be the newest member of our awesome team! As our Health Information/Medical Records Director you will have responsibility for the initiation, maintenance and filing of resident records in the facility and report to the administrator.
Requirements
- 2-4 years’ previous experience in medical records
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Supervisory skills to delegate, resolve conflict and respect diversity
- Must have knowledge of medical terminology
- Ability to understand and apply applicable regulations, policies and procedures.
- Ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines
- Knowledgeable or nursing/medical practices and procedures
- Ability to follow instructions and accept feedback
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of ICD coding
- Supervisory experience
- Willingness to work beyond working hours, weekends, and holidays when necessary
- Accredited Records Technician certification
- Experience with PointClickCare
