About The Position
The purpose of this position is to perform Accounts Receivable and Pharmacy Point of Sale (POS) support functions for Resource Patient Management System (RPMS) through the posting of adjustments and payments. The Health Information Accounting Technician serves as the voucher examiner, debt manager, and implements internal controls to ensure proper payments are received for services.
Requirements
- Six months to two years of similar or related experience
- High School Diploma or GED
Responsibilities
- Perform Accounts Receivable and Pharmacy Point of Sale (POS) support functions for Resource Patient Management System (RPMS) through the posting of adjustments and payments
- Serve as the voucher examiner
- Serve as debt manager
- Implement internal controls to ensure proper payments are received for services
