About The Position
The HIM Coordinator is responsible for the overall management of medical records, coding, and release of information and health information processes. The HIM Coordinator is consistent with policies and procedures as set forth by accrediting and regulatory agencies.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in a Health Information Management Department is required.
Nice To Haves
- Graduate of a Health Information Management program with subsequent passing of the registry examination (RHIA) or accreditation (RHIT).
