Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• One (1) year of medical records experience
• Working knowledge of filing systems and computers
• All candidates must pass a Health Information Clerk test.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch and squat, and lift 25 pounds.
• Work is 75% walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Health Information Supervisor, follow well defined procedures and guidelines with minimal supervision.
• Must have the ability to work accurately and have strong organizational skills to maintain accuracy, efficiency, and to prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
