About The Position

RiseWell Community Services is seeking a Full-Time Health Information Systems Specialist to join the Information Technology Department in Medford, NY. In this role, you will lead the implementation, use, and functionality of all Health Information Systems (HIS), working with third party EHR vendors, Health Homes, IPAs, RHIOs, and agency stakeholders. Responsible for complete EHR lifecycle, including optimization, governance, and quality assurance, and aligns those systems with the agency's data analytics function.

Requirements

Master’s Degree or a Bachelor’s Degree and at least 2 years of experience in healthcare services.
Expertise in Electronic Health Record Systems.
Clean valid NY State Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

Lead the implementation, use, and functionality of all Health Information Systems (HIS).
Work with third party EHR vendors, Health Homes, IPAs, RHIOs, and agency stakeholders.
Manage the complete EHR lifecycle, including optimization, governance, and quality assurance.
Align HIS systems with the agency's data analytics function.
