About The Position

Responsible for supervising, planning, evaluating, and implementing the activities, operations, and staff of an assigned Southern Nevada Heath District (District) disease prevention and/or health promotion department; collaborates with internal and external stakeholders in response to public health issues in accordance with established goals, project plans, and budgets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in community or public health education or related field.
• Four (4) years of increasingly responsible experience in a health-related field.
• A minimum of two (2) years' experience in a lead or supervisory role.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain, a Nevada Driver license within six (6) months of employment.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree from an accredited college or university in public health or health education.
• Certified Health Education Specialist (C.H.E.S) certification.
