About The Position
This position is responsible for assisting in health education programs within Kern County. The role involves supporting the development and implementation of health initiatives aimed at improving community well-being. Employees in this role contribute to the overall mission of Kern County by enhancing public health services and strengthening the community.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in public health, a health science or health service, or a behavioral science.
- Any combination of education and experience in a public agency or non-profit organization.
- A valid Class C California Driver License is required upon appointment.
- Must attain at least a 70% score on each phase of the examination process.
- Valid government-issued photograph identification is required for admittance to the examination.
