Requirements

  • An advanced degree in health economics, economics, health policy, or a related field.
  • 8+ years in health economics or outcomes research, including deep hands-on experience building economic models (cost-effectiveness, budget impact, ROI or cost-offset), including sensitivity analysis to pressure-test assumptions.
  • A track record generating payer-facing and/or employer-facing economic evidence.
  • Fluency interpreting claims-derived cost and utilization data.
  • Experience generating real-world evidence in value-based care, care-delivery, primary care, or population-health settings.
  • Ability to make rigorous economic work clear and credible to a range of audiences.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Published or presented economic research (for example ISPOR, Value in Health, or JMCP), or built payer-grade evidence dossiers.

Responsibilities

  • Quantify the economic value of Oura's healthcare research to help prioritize where evidence investment goes, sizing the opportunities across payer and employer segments.
  • Build the economic value case for Oura across healthcare payers and employers, translating clinical and real-world findings into cost, utilization, and workforce outcomes that buyers act on.
  • Develop the budget-impact, cost-effectiveness, and ROI models behind that case, building reusable model frameworks that scale as new evidence matures.
  • Own the payer- and employer-facing evidence packages that anchor our outcomes research goals, built to withstand payer, employer, and investor scrutiny.
  • Partner with research scientists to build economic endpoints into upcoming clinical outcomes research studies, so data collection supports economic analysis.

  • An Oura Ring of your own plus employee discounts for friends & family
  • 20 days of paid time off plus 13 paid holidays plus 8 days of flexible wellness time off
