About The Position

This role involves building models for data-driven decisions, answering open-ended questions using data visualization tools and statistics to bring measurable business benefits to the organization. The position is responsible for managing SQL Server databases and requires strong knowledge of systems support disciplines such as problem management and change management, security and control, job scheduling, systems management and monitoring, and database maintenance. The Health Data Scientist will also be responsible for maintaining existing programs in various web applications. Strong technical skills in Hadoop, Python, or similar programming languages are essential. The role involves working with existing CRM systems to help facilitate data mining, transfer, and integration, and with HealthIntent's EDW solution to design and implement financial-based dashboards and data reporting. Additionally, the position provides training and ongoing support necessary for individuals to use the applications effectively.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years completion towards a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or data informatics, or completion of an Associate degree in computer science or data informatics
  • 1-3 years of experience working with Microsoft SQL Server
  • 1-3 years of experience working with OLAP reporting
  • 1-3 years of experience in Hadoop, Python, or similar programming languages
  • Strong knowledge of systems support disciplines such as problem management and change management, security and control, job scheduling, systems management and monitoring, and database maintenance
