The Provider Payment Modeling (PPM) team partners with state Medicaid agencies and other public‑sector health and human services organizations to design, analyze, and implement complex provider payment and financing programs. The team supports initiatives across the full payment lifecycle, including policy analysis, financial modeling, implementation support, and ongoing program operations. PPM projects are analytically rigorous, policy‑driven, and highly collaborative, often spanning multiple states and provider types. The PPM team delivers services across several core product areas: Cost Reporting & Supplemental Payments, Rate Setting, Payment Innovation, and Actuarial Services. Consultants on the PPM team support both the technical and operational components of provider payment initiatives. Consultants work as part of project teams and are expected to manage defined workstreams, contribute to high‑quality client deliverables, and collaborate closely with senior staff and clients.
