About The Position

HSHS St. Elizabeth's Hospital is seeking a Health Clerk to join our team. The Health Clerk facilitates patient and clerical activities, including order entry, documentation, communication of information necessary for patient care, system management, chart assembly and analysis, customer service/public relations activities related to patient care and unit operations, ensures accurate data collection and data entry to facilitate customer satisfaction and timely and accurate reimbursement for services.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
Working knowledge of medical terminology and/or previous course in medical terminology is desirable.
Basic Life Support (BLS) is preferred.

Responsibilities

Facilitates patient and clerical activities, including order entry, documentation, communication of information necessary for patient care, system management, chart assembly and analysis, customer service/public relations activities related to patient care and unit operations.
Ensures accurate data collection and data entry to facilitate customer satisfaction and timely and accurate reimbursement for services.
