About The Position
Sedgebrook Senior Living is looking for a passionate Health Center Life Enrichment Manager to lead and deliver dynamic, person-centered programs that enrich the lives of our residents and support whole-person wellness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience in therapeutic recreation or activity programming (healthcare or senior living preferred)
- Passion for working with older adults, including those with dementia and cognitive impairments
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
- CPR, AED, and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor Activity Assistants while overseeing daily programming
- Design and implement engaging activities aligned with the 8 Dimensions of Wellness
- Plan and host events including outings, entertainment, discussion groups, and one-on-one experiences
- Develop personalized activity plans through resident assessments
- Create and promote monthly calendars and communications
- Facilitate resident council and family meetings
- Collaborate across departments to deliver exceptional experiences
- Manage program supplies, budgets, and regulatory documentation
- Track resident engagement and program outcomes
