About The Position
Classic LifeCare is a trusted, family-run home care agency with over 50 years of experience providing exceptional healthcare services. We take pride in our accreditation by Accreditation Canada. We are currently seeking compassionate caregivers to join our team on a casual basis, supporting clients in their own home. With flexible scheduling options, we prioritize work-life balance while helping our clients maintain a high quality of life in the comfort of their homes. Areas where we are looking for casual Health Care Workers: Vancouver and Burnaby, BC.
Requirements
- Experience working with seniors and/or individuals with disabilities.
- Willingness to work both short and long shifts.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a positive and friendly attitude.
- Willingness to commute to designated locations.
- A clear criminal record check with a vulnerable sector clearance.
Nice To Haves
- Possession of a Health Care Aide certificate and BC registry number is an asset.
- Possession of a driver's license with your own vehicle is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Providing assistance with personal care and medications.
- Conducting light meal preparation and homemaking services.
- Offering companionship and emotional support.
- Assisting with medical escort services
- Assisting with medication management
