About The Position
The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a liaison between the Nutritional Services Department and the patients of Cherry Hospital. This position will be responsible for obtaining and maintaining patient food preferences in the Meal Tracker system, assisting the Clinical Dietitians with various tasks and conducting quality and accuracy audits on patient profiles and meal service.
Requirements
- High school or General Educational Development diploma; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Nice To Haves
- Basic knowledge of dietetics, teaching strategies and positive behavior support people with severe cognitive deficits.
- Ability to follow clinical orders, work independently and as a member of a team.
- Ability to communicate effectively, professionally, and with an even-tempered demeanor with individuals, staff and others.
- Ability to learn behavior management and supportive counseling techniques.
- Ability to communicate observations and recommendations effectively in written and verbal form.
