About The Position

Responsible for all duties related to processing and result reporting of outreach laboratory specimens directly impacting patient care: specimen handling, proper specimen storage, test ordering, test availability, specimen requirements and distribution of patient specimens for laboratory testing. Manages information pertaining to patient specimens, and provides responsible, difficult and precise technical and clerical assistance requiring independent judgement, self-motivation, and exacting detail. This position directs daily work of the Client Service Representative team to facilitate an efficient and effective work environment; assists with the management of procedures including the review, changes, and implementation; as well as provides extensive client service communication with internal and external customers of Regional Pathology Services ( RPS ), the Nebraska Public Health Laboratory ( NPHL ), and the Department of Pathology and Microbiology.
