GENERAL SUMMARY: Manages the day-to-day healthcare operations of the community to ensure resident’s healthcare needs are met. Ensures residents are treated with respect and dignity and ensures quality care as resident’s healthcare needs change. Supervises licensed nurses and other direct care staff within the community.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• LPN with a current license in community’s state required.
• Two years’ experience in geriatric nursing and/or B.S. Degree in nursing.
• Minimum of two years nursing administration experience, preferably in a long term care setting.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Background screening through AHCA

Nice To Haves

• Participation in professional organizations, dealing primarily in geriatrics preferred.
• NADONA certification a plus.
