Requirements

  • A current state nursing license (LPN).
  • A proven track record in nursing leadership, preferably in senior living or long-term care environments.
  • Strong clinical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to manage both the administrative and hands-on aspects of nursing care.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work closely with staff, administrators, and families.
  • A passion for senior care, adherence to Americare’s mission, and dedication to providing a high quality of life for residents.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the clinical supervision and administration of all nursing services.
  • Implement and maintain nursing objectives, standards, policies, and procedures, revising them as necessary.
  • Provide clinical guidance to nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and other care team members.
  • Collaborate with community administrators to ensure all staff receive necessary orientation and training.
  • Conduct regular assessments of residents and ensure all required documentation is up-to-date.
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and Americare regulations.
  • Manage medication systems and ensure they meet regulatory guidelines and resident needs.
  • Play a key role in quality assurance by maintaining community standards, assisting with inspections, and upholding a safe, home-like environment for residents.
