About The Position

The Health and Wellness Coordinator will report directly to the Drayson Center Manager/Director and to the AVP For Community Partnerships. The employee’s primary responsibilities include supporting the Drayson Center with their wellness programs and supporting with the implementation of the HEART (Health Assessment and Rapid Transformation) project. Their duties include teaching workshops, facilitating programs, supporting data collection and reporting, wellness programming, and partnership development. The WHPC will meet with patients or clients to explain/guide/facilitate which wellness resources are available to them and will help create a customized wellness plan via health coaching services to improve patients’ health. The employee must be an organized team player with a passion for community health and engagement to improve health outcomes and wellbeing. Performs other duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in preventative care, public health, health science or related field required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in related field required.
  • Read, write legibly, and speak in English with professional quality
  • Use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Operate/troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the position.
  • Relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others
