Episcopal SeniorLife Communities (ESLC) is seeking a part-time Health and Wellness Coordinator to plan and coordinate programs and activities that enhance the well-being of older adults in the community. This role is crucial for ensuring that all programs, especially those for individuals impacted by Alzheimer's and other dementias and their caregivers, are integrated with ESLC's high-quality dementia care and support services. The coordinator will be responsible for developing and delivering dementia-friendly programming, building community relationships, promoting participation in ESLC's Neighborhood Programs, and expanding health and wellness initiatives with a volunteer workforce. The position requires promoting the program through various activities like tailored balance plans, nutrition education, strength training, and informative presentations. A key aspect of the role is ensuring programs have a measurable impact through assessments and surveys, and that all programs are inclusive. The coordinator will also develop and deliver educational programs on healthy living, recruit and manage volunteers, represent ESLC at outreach events, complete health and quality care assessments, and track data for grant requirements.
