About The Position

Performs various duties with member services and improving the health and well-being of our members. This is a temporary, part-time position with available morning and evening shifts. The role involves greeting members, promoting a culture of wellness, processing transactions, maintaining cleanliness, answering member questions, providing equipment instruction, assisting with programs, and performing operational procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Greet members at the member services desk with a strong commitment to help improve the health and wellbeing of members and guests
  • Help create a culture of wellness by role modeling healthy behaviors; provide excellent customer service; and provide tours for guests and prospective members
  • Process point of sale credit card transactions including selling guest passes and memberships; inputs transactions in the member management system
  • Uphold safety and cleaning policies and clean equipment
  • Manages the lobby area to ensure that it is clean and organized; contacts housekeeping as needed
  • Answers member questions, provide assistance to participants in the Cardio, Weight Room, and other fitness areas
  • Offer new member equipment instruction
  • Serve as Program Assistant as needed and complete all required training
  • Performs opening and closing operational procedures as needed
  • Performs other duties as required
