About The Position

Do you want to turn nutrition knowledge into meaningful community impact? You will coordinate and expand Food for Health programs that strengthen nutrition security across our service area while collaborating with healthcare partners, interns and internal teams. In this role, you manage key program logistics, support nutrition education initiatives and help advance grant-funded projects that improve access to healthy food. What success looks like in the first 6–12 months includes strong healthcare partner relationships, smooth coordination of Food for Health programs, effective oversight of dietetic interns and measurable contributions to nutrition education materials, surveys and program data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or at least four years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • One to three years of experience in nutrition, dietetics or public health

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Healthcare Programs
  • Prepare program materials such as agreements, training materials and flyers
  • Coordinate onboarding of new healthcare partners
  • Place program orders and communicate delivery information to healthcare partners
  • Maintain strong relationships with healthcare partners
  • Conduct site visits to assess program standards and partner agency needs
  • Collect and maintain reported partner data
  • Dietetic Internship Program Management
  • Manage the dietetic internship program
  • Supervise graduate students
  • Coordinate placements and projects with university program directors
  • Maintain relationships with program partners and university directors
  • Food for Health Initiatives Support
  • Develop nutrition materials for box programs
  • Work with operations to determine appropriate inventory selection for box assembly
  • Administer and assess health and nutrition client surveys
  • Assist with grant writing and applications for nutrition programs and initiatives
  • Research nutrition-based studies and organizations to inform food for health and hunger prevention strategies
  • Maintain community involvement with health and nutrition groups, organizations and health fairs as appropriate
  • Collaborate with teammates, internal committees and cross-functional groups as directed by the Health and Nutrition Program Manager
