About The Position
The Health Aide Supervisor supervises, guides, and/or instructs subordinate staff in their work assignments. The role also provides basic patient care and works with patients or clients to develop daily living skills. The position may involve taking vital signs and performing other related medical procedures under the direction of nursing staff.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Two years of experience in a related field, including one year in a lead worker, team leader, or supervisory role; alternatively, one year of experience at the lower-level Health Aide 3 (HCS022) position or an equivalent position.
Responsibilities
- Supervise, guide, and/or instruct subordinate staff in their work assignments.
- Provide basic patient care.
- Work with patients or clients to develop daily living skills.
- Take vital signs and perform other related medical procedures under the direction of nursing staff, as needed.
