About The Position

Hope Is Alive Ministries is a faith-based nonprofit recovery organization dedicated to transforming lives through Jesus Christ. Founded on the belief that lasting recovery is possible, HIA operates across six states — Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Colorado, Texas, and North Carolina — serving individuals and families affected by addiction through residential recovery programs, community outreach, and discipleship. Every member of the HIA team is called to embody the organization's mission and values as both a professional and a servant leader. The Healing Strategist leads teaching classes and walks alongside residents individually as they progress through their 45 day stay at The Healing Center, helping each resident build the knowledge, skills, and spiritual foundation needed for lasting recovery through Jesus Christ. Ministry Alignment This position requires active support of HIA's Statement of Faith and Code of Conduct. The following reflect how this role specifically advances our mission: Teaching and walking with residents one on one through their 45 day stay puts this role at the center of each resident's growth and transformation while at The Healing Center. Every class taught and every one on one meeting held is a chance to help a resident build a foundation for lasting recovery through Jesus Christ. This role requires the same personal investment and spiritual maturity HIA expects of every discipleship focused role, since residents are trusting this role to guide them through one of the most formative seasons of their recovery.
