About The Position

The Hartford HealthCare (HHC) Ayer Neuroscience Institute is seeking a Headache Specialist for our premier, ambulatory multi-specialty center in Enfield, Connecticut. We have a collaborative and inclusive model of care, offering personalized, coordinated care with excellent patient experience. BC/BE Neurologists or Internal Medicine physicians with fellowship training in Headache medicine are encouraged to apply. This role involves conducting clinical trials and research using state-of-the-art technologies and treatments dedicated to finding new strategies to prevent and treat headaches. Additionally, the position includes training and mentoring emerging leaders in the field through The Hartford HealthCare Headache Center Fellowship in Headache and Facial Pain program, and participating in graduate medical education, professional, and public educational programs. The Ayer Neuroscience Institute is a rapidly expanding institute focused on comprehensive patient care, academics, and research, supported by a system committed to excellence in patient quality and experience. The Institute boasts an impressive staff of over 165 Neuroscience physicians and advanced practitioners across various specialties.

Requirements

• BC/BE Neurologists or Internal Medicine physicians with fellowship training in Headache medicine

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical trials and research using state of the art technologies and treatments dedicated to finding new strategies to prevent and treat headaches.
• Train and mentor emerging leaders in the field who are pursuing their fellowship through The Hartford HealthCare Headache Center Fellowship in Headache and Facial Pain program.
• Participate in graduate medical education, professional and public educational programs.
