Headache Neurologist
About The Position
Illinois Neurological Institute, part of OSF Saint Francis Medical Center, is seeking a BE/BC Headache Neurologist to join a multispecialty neuroscience program. The role involves joining an established INI Headache Clinic with a collegial team of board-certified neurologists, experienced Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), and dedicated support staff. This position offers a 100% outpatient practice with a Monday-Friday schedule, supporting a strong work-life balance. The role includes 36 patient-facing clinical hours per week with efficient clinic workflows and multidisciplinary support. Opportunities are available for medical directorship, research and program development, and academic/teaching involvement, with encouragement to participate in the growth of the ACGME-accredited Neurology Residency in partnership with the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria. A strong referral base from OSF Medical Group and Primary Care physicians is in place.
Requirements
- Physician Licensed to practice medicine in current state.
- Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
- Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty(ies).
- Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
- Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
- Shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
