About The Position

The Department of Neurology at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC) is seeking a board-certified physician with fellowship training in headache medicine to join their growing headache team. This is an opportunity to practice in a collaborative, patient-centered environment with access to cutting-edge treatments and a strong multidisciplinary support team. The position is outpatient-focused with no nights, weekends, or call requirements. It involves 32 clinical hours per week with 8 hours of admin/asynchronous time. Patient visit times are allocated as 60 minutes for new patients and 30 minutes for follow-up visits. The role includes working in a dedicated headache clinic with access to infusion therapies and neuromodulation treatments, and collaborating with a team of general and subspecialty neurologists, advanced practice providers, and pain specialists. There are also opportunities for teaching, clinical research, and program development.

Requirements

Board-certified physician with fellowship training in headache medicine.
BC/BE in neurology, internal medicine, or family medicine by the ABMS.
Fellowship training in Headache Medicine (UCNS-certified).
Eligible for medical licensure in NH and VT.
Passion for teaching, learning, and continuous professional development.

Responsibilities

Provide outpatient-focused care in headache medicine.
Manage new and follow-up patient visits with allocated time slots.
Utilize infusion therapies and neuromodulation treatments.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of neurologists, advanced practice providers, and pain specialists.
