About The Position

ShotVet is seeking a Head Vet Technician to join our team. This role is primarily weekdays Monday-Friday, with Sundays required, and includes travel to nearby states to support our mobile wellness clinics.

Requirements

• Strong clinical proficiency in preventive care and animal handling
• Demonstrated leadership, training, and team development skills
• Excellent interpersonal and client communication abilities
• Adaptability in fast-paced, mobile clinic environments
• Willingness to travel within the region as needed

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality preventive care, including vaccinations, diagnostic testing, and client education
• Lead staff training initiatives, including onboarding, skills development, and clinic orientation
• Ensure exceptional client service through clear communication and education on pet health
• Provide on-site leadership at mobile clinic events, supporting team efficiency and clinical excellence
• Maintain compliance with veterinary best practices, safety protocols, and workflow standards
