About The Position
The Head Varsity Boys Basketball Coach is responsible for coaching, character development, and providing direction to student athletes. The goal is to help athletes achieve a high level of skill while fostering an appreciation for discipline, sportsmanship, and teamwork in basketball.
Requirements
- Must possess a valid Arizona Teaching Certificate, Arizona Coaching Certificate, or have completed the National Federation of State High School Associations Level 1 Certification online within forty-five (45) days from the date of hire.
- Must be approved in accordance with the personnel policies of the school district and Arizona Revised Statutes.
- Certification must be on file or recorded in the office of the principal or their designee.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card from the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
