About The Position
This role involves the disciplinary and functional management of employees, budget planning and tracking, and defining team targets in coordination with the Manager. The position serves as the main point of contact for development teams regarding testing matters, ensuring product validation through performance of tests and analysis of results. It also includes deriving and defining requirements for validation and testing, ensuring laboratory and test area safety, and strategically developing validation and testing skills. The role requires coordinating international validation and testing activities, preparing reports on work results, costs, and investments, and ensuring equipment operationality. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Disciplinary and/or functional management experience
- Experience in budget planning and tracking
- Experience in defining team targets
- Experience acting as a point of contact for development teams
- Experience ensuring product validation through testing
- Experience deriving and defining requirements for validation and testing
- Knowledge of safety in laboratory and test areas, including safe test bench operation and compliance with standards and legal regulations
- Experience in strategic development of validation and testing skills
- Experience coordinating international validation and testing activities
- Experience drawing up reports on work results, costs, and planned investments
- Experience ensuring equipment operationality
Responsibilities
- Disciplinary and/or functional management of employees
- Budget planning and tracking in the assigned area
- Defining targets for the team in coordination with the Manager
- Acting as the main point of contact for development teams for any functional, organisational or commercial matters arising regarding testing
- Ensuring the necessary testing for product validation (both the performance of the tests and the test results)
- Deriving and defining requirements for validation and testing based on the system requirements
- Responsible for safety in the laboratory and test area, incl. safe test bench operation and testing whilst complying with all relevant standards and legal regulations
- Strategically developing the validation and testing skills in coordination with the Manager
- Coordinating validation and testing activities at international level at internal and external service providers and partners
- Drawing up reports on work results, costs and planned investments
- Responsible for ensuring the equipment is operational
- Other duties, as assigned
