About The Position

Become a part of the Vivvi founding team at a brand new 24-hour child care center on Toyota’s new campus in Liberty, NC, to help build the quality program children deserve while pursuing your own professional growth and development.

Requirements

2+ years of experience working in a licensed child care center capacity
2+ years of experience as a Head Teacher or in a similar role within a licensed child care center, including expertise in creating original lesson plans, leading parent-teacher conferences, and effectively liaising with families about children’s development and milestones.
Hold a Bachelors Degree in ECE or Child Development
Possess excellent leadership skills including the ability to define goals and motivate staff towards success
Must be based in or willing to relocate to Liberty, N.C.
Must possess independent US work authorization

Responsibilities

Ensure the well-being and development of the children in your classroom
Dream up rich, thematic units that foster children’s curiosity and help them achieve key individual and age-appropriate milestones
Lead planning and implementation of inquiry-based activities and curriculum tailored towards children’s developmental growth
Engage with and enrich children using positive language, loving care, and interactive play
Proactively communicate with parents regarding their children’s development and growth
Closely supervise children and adhere to robust health and safety protocol
